Valentina completed her MSc (animal breeding and genetics) with a thesis on non-additive genetic effects for fertility traits in Canadian Holstein at the Centre for Genetic Improvement of Livestock at the University of Guelph in Canada (CGIL), in November 2005. From January 2006 to February 2007 she worked for CGIL and Beef Improvement Ontario on a project about genetic improvement of maternal influenced traits in sheep, with particular attention to lamb survivability. Since March 2007 she is employed at the Interbull Centre. Valentina’s main responsibilities are delivering of Interbull services, customer support and quality assurance.
