Interested in joining our services?
Interbull Services are underpinned by our primary aims of accuracy, independence and security.
Our Services are provided within the framework of the International Committee for Animal Recording (ICAR) . If you are not an ICAR member, nor have the support of an ICAR Member, please check how to become a member of ICAR . The ICAR member does not have to be the same organization that handles national genetic data, though this may often be the case, but both have to be in agreement about joining our services.
If you are already a member of ICAR or have the support of an ICAR member, then you may take the next steps to join our services.

International BULL Evaluation Services (INTERBULL): Around the world, there are many countries with their own breed populations and national evaluation systems for calculating bull breeding values and cow indexes for various important traits. Through the International Bull Evaluation Services (“MACE”, “GMACE” and “InterGenomics”), information from participating countries is used to calculate genetic merit thereby facilitating selection of the best genetics for different countries, environments, or breeding goals.
Validation services: Validation of national evaluations are performed to provide assurance that statistical models applied are sound and appropriate to the data included, and provides support to breed societies and national genetic evaluation centres in complying with national and EU Animal Breeding regulations.
Data Exchange Services are currently available for Dairy and Beef cattle.
International Beef Evaluation Services (INTERBEEF): Also in the beef industry, many countries have their own breed populations and national evaluation systems to calculate breeding values and cow indexes for various important traits. Through the International Beef Evaluation Service, INTERBEEF, information from participating countries is used to calculate genetic merit thereby facilitating selection of the best genetics for different countries, environments, or breeding goals.
Data Exchange Services are available for Dairy and Beef cattle.

The Interbull Centre provides two levels of genetic and genomic data exchange: Parentage SNP Data Exchange (GenoEx-PSE) and Genetic Traits Exchange, with a third one, Genomic Data Exchange (GenoEx-GDE) expected in 2025.
The exchange of Parentage SNP data (PSE) and (large) genomic data (GDE) is possible for any breed - beef or dairy - through the International Genotype Exchange platform (GenoEx).
The service for exchange of genetic traits is currently offered for Holstein and Brown Swiss breeds.

The Interbull Centre distributes annually more than 400 000 000 international estimated breeding values (EBVs), of which nearly 50 000 000 are international genomic EBVs.
